Client and project challenges

Group specialized in the development, registration, formulation and packaging of phytosanitary, nutritional, biostimulants and microgranulated fertilizers, both for the needs of its commercial network and for those companies in the sector that require a high level of demand in the handling of their specialties.

It has 3 companies in Spain, depending on an Italian parent company. They are dedicated to the manufacture and commercialization in the North African Zone and in the Spanish market of phytosanitary products, as well as nutrients and anti-pests.

Whether through its own companies belonging to the Group, through national and foreign distributors or thanks to toll manufacturing agreements with other companies, the products formulated in the Group’s factory in Valencia are distributed throughout the five continents.

It also has several foreign subsidiaries in Morocco, Algeria and Egypt, which depend, at management level, on the Spanish companies of the group.

Our work and approach

Since 2021 and after having been awarded the Group’s broker tender in Spain, we have been managing the complete general insurance package.

The commitment acquired with the Group involves the analysis and audit of the current situation of its insurance program in order to identify and correct possible weaknesses. We will also channel and manage the respective renewals per branch at their respective maturities, negotiating renewal conditions with the respective insurers, as well as alternatives in the insurance market in each case.

Likewise, Ferrer&Ojeda is in charge of providing a close and specialized service in each service area on a daily basis. We provide a flexible remuneration platform so that they can streamline, speed up and promote a better management of their remuneration policy towards their employees.

We negotiate renewal conditions for the closest maturities, prioritizing and paying special attention to the main lines of business. We analyze and recommend policies not contracted and necessary for the client. We obtain important adjustments in premiums and improvements in important policies such as General Liability, achieving important savings in spite of the increase in base billing and improvement of some important guarantees.

In its Health group, agreeing with the insurer to limit the premium increase for the 2022 annuality to the IPS, which implies an increase of 2.1% rcompared to 2021 premiums, we also put at their disposal a team of 3 people for the attention and resolution of queries and procedures of employees. In relation to Pension Plans and Retirement Plans, an exhaustive analysis of the design and structure of the policies currently in force is carried out, prioritizing the dynamization of the procedures that most interest the client in the short term. To this end, a work team is defined to support the client in all the questions and needs derived from these branches.

In All Risks Property Damage, an in-depth market study is being carried out in parallel to the negotiation of renewal conditions with the current insurer. At the same time, solutions have been sought to complement the coinsurance to be set up in view of the communication from the current insurer that it is impossible for it to continue to assume 100 % of the risk% d.

Results
A very important bet has been made in human and material resources that integrate the service proposal, which has led the client to bet on Grupo Ferrer&Ojeda as a broker for its insurance program for the next 2 years.
