For a general information morning newspaper, leader in the autonomous community where it is published, with a very important bet on its digital edition on the Internet. It has offices in several Spanish cities and correspondents around the world.

–> This client had its contracts diversified among several insurance distribution channels, and although it had a very receptive mentality regarding the protection of its risks, it did not have a 360º vision in terms of unifying them all in a single broker that could help it with a global vision.
Our work and approach
We initially decided to carry out an intensive consultancy work on all their risks, with a fairly extensive personal interview so that we could perceive their casuistry and analyze vulnerabilities. They also provided us with their contracts so that we could assess whether they were in line with everything they told us.

–> We prepared a comprehensive report where we recommended in some cases to maintain the policies they already had, providing improvements in some guarantees and in others we proposed changes of insurers. We also recommended taking out new insurance policies such as cyber risk, travel assistance and agreeing an Employee Benefits contract for their employees.

–> With all the qualitative improvement we also managed to lower premium rates and improve costs due to the negotiation capacity we had, which produced a greater margin of maneuver with most companies.
Results
We underwrote and managed their current program of three policies: Property, Liability and D&O, providing service in the management of their main claims and incidents and studying right now the expansion with 2 more contracts.

–> The client has managed to substantially improve the guarantees and costs of all its insurance policies by unifying the management to a single channel and transferring the day-to-day management to a professional of the sector who is ahead of all the movements that encompass its program.

–> The good performance of the existing contracts has made the client loyal and interested in contracting new products, which had not yet generated enough interest, such as cyber risks, which is becoming the order of the day, or Employee Benefits, where they manage to provide facilities to their employees and also achieve a tax benefit.
