A public university of reference in the country and at European level, with assets of more than €505 million and 16 faculties with more than 60,000 students
Our work and approach
We reviewed the current Due Diligence program, analysis and improvement proposals through visits and on-site risk inspections in all entities, faculties, properties, more than 662,774 m2 and by all departments linked to the University. We prepared a bidding process for insurance companies, providing support in the drafting of technical and administrative specifications. We rectified and expanded the drafting of the particular conditions of the damage and civil liability insurance. We proposed new packages to be tendered according to the new needs and risk map. We developed a web site for the Affinity group of employees, teaching and administrative staff, and collaborators such as students for the direct contracting in real time of previously negotiated personal insurance policies, under special conditions and with agile processing.
Results
The result was the optimization of the coverage and costs of all the policies, proposing and approving a program that insures globally both the University and all the foundations and entities linked to it. Implementation of a cybercrime protection protocol, which did not exist and made the client vulnerable, both in terms of prevention measures and protection through the insurance itself. We improved the experience of the Affinity group, providing immediate service and coverage to their needs, putting at their disposal a personal management team on a case-by-case basis with the insured.
